Waltz of Spring by Wallace

In the great scheme of the world of sterling, Waltz of Spring by Wallace is a relatively new pattern being introduced in 1952. The lines are more modern and similar to those more popular after the 1940's.

    One of those patterns, like "Romance of the Sea," that might appeal to a young bride who would later out grow it and move onto something more mature, such as Kirk's "Old Maryland Engraved," which clearly says "I have arrived!"

    To me this is a pretty pattern like Romance of the Sea. And I greatly prefer it to some of those "sleek and modern" designs of the 1950's. At least this has personality. But I agree it does look young.
