Firelight by Gorham

A "newer" pattern Gorham's Firelight was introduced in 1959. The design on the top of the stem resembles a stylialized flame. The more modern sleek lines are those that were popular in the 50's. Also, note that the serving spoon has a plastic bowl, unlike the traditional wooden ones, another sign of the times.

Palm is a popular name for sterling patterns. Gorham introduced their Palm pattern in 1870. This Palm is not to be confused with Palm by Tiffany (1871), Palm by Frank Whiting (1877).

Wild Rose by International

International's Wild Rose pattern was introduced in 1948. The design includes rose blossoms at the end of the stem, top of the stem, and on the tip of the terminal.

Saint Cloud by Gorham

This pattern was credited to Walter Wilkinson when introduced in 1885  by Gorham. However, there is some belief that credit should go to F. Antoine Heller. It is heavily engraved and very ornate.
