Pierced Nut Spoon (Part 3)

Still one of the fanciest pieces in any set, the Pierced Nut Spoon is very similar to the Bon Bon Spoon. I have posted on these earlier. There are two distinct sizes. The smaller size I think is what some patterns refer to as an "Almond Spoon", although I have no reference to back that up. Some patterns show two sizes and refer to both of them as "Pierced Nut Spoons", some only show one size, and some show a larger "Pierced Nut Spoon" then a smaller "Almond" spoon or scoop (although the later does not resemble a scoop at all).

Wave Edge was introduced by Tiffany in 1884 and is another pattern designed by Charles Grosjean. He also designed one of Tiffany's mixed metal pattern, Chrysanthemum (1880), and Lap over Edge in  (1880 ) one of Tiffany's more detailed and complex patterns.

Sorbet Spoons

Of all the frozen dessert spoons I have mentioned, the Sorbet Spoon has been neglected. We have the Ice Cream Spoon, Ice Cream Fork, Ice Cream Slicer, Ice Cream Servers, Sherbert Servers, and Sorbet Servers. The unique thing about this piece is the edge of the bowl which tends to be scalloped in most patterns.
