Toast Server

The Toast Server is similar to some of the other servers (waffle, etc) except the spatula part is longer. The piece itself varies in length from 8 1/2 to as long as 11 1/4 inches. This piece is not found in all patterns.

Fruit Serving Spoon

Different from the Berry Serving spoon that is found in most patterns, I could only find examples of the Fruit Serving spoon in patterns by Kirk Stieff and Schofield. That is not to say that other manufacturers did not include them in their patterns, I just have not run across them. The designs are very similar to the Berry serving spoon and I can see the two easily confused.

A very rare pattern introduced by Tiffany in 1885 and designed by Aurthur LeRoy Barney, Indian has a cast of different designs of an Indian on the terminal. These designs include dancing, hunting, etc.

Hooded Asparagus Servers

Of the different types of Asparagus Servers - Tongs, Individual (I posted on earlier), and "Servers". There are two types of "Servers" - Servers (I posted on earlier) and Hooded Servers. Here are some examples of Hooded Asparagus Servers. A majority of these pieces (I have yet to find one that is not) are hollow handled, therefore the true difference is in the blade (or shelf) itself.

Another beautiful pattern designed by F. Antoine Heller and introduced by Gorham in 1882. Fontainebleau, has a motif design on the terminals of each piece. Each piece features people bringing different pieces to the banquet table. For example, if you look on the gravy ladle and the serving spoon, you will see a man bringing (what looks like) a tureen. On the ice cream fork and egg spoon, the man is bringing individual cups (or servings). Only Heller would put this thought and detail into a pattern.
